- The Oracle PL/SQL language, extends SQL by adding the constructs found in other procedural languages, such as variables and control structures, thus allowing for a flexible procedural extension to SQL. In this course students learn the basic syntax and statements used to create functioning PL/SQL blocks. Students write different types of PL/SQL blocks, including anonymous blocks, named blocks, procedures, functions, triggers, and packages. This course is taught in Oracle 10g but has references throughout to previous versions where changes have been made.
